Arizona was home to 65 species—44 endangered species and 21 threatened species—listed under the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA). Of these, 44 were animal species and 21 were plant species.

We urge Congress to pass H.R. 3742 to dedicate full funding of $1.4 billion annually for states to develop wildlife management plans to recover species at risk across the country.
